Hasim Rahman Jr will still weigh in on Friday, despite Jake Paul's fight being cancelled
The entire pay-per view event was cancelled after a disagreement over weight.
Rahman, who was 16 stone when he last fought in April, signed to fight at the 14st 4lb limit for 200lb cruiserweight.
The New York State Athletic Commission decided to track his weight.
After Rahman tried unsuccessfully to lose weight, the fight weight was increased to 205 lbs.
Paul, however, claimed that his opponent wanted it to be no less than 215lb. This led the YouTube star and YouTuber to end the entire thing.
Rahman, however, has maintained that he is willing to fight at 205lb. He will be proving it on Friday when he steps up to the scales.
He stated, "We can fight at weight 205lb that's no problem to us, we can get it on.
"I am definitely interested in hurting him and it would not be at my detriment to do it at weight 205lb.
"I'm ready to do that, I will make 205lb Friday."
A new contract was required after the fight weight change. Rahman claimed that the bout was cancelled before Rahman could agree terms.
Paul's Most Valuable Promotions said that the son of a legend wanted no less than 215lb.
MVP stated: "After receiving the new contract Saturday morning Rahman's camp indicated that he intended to weigh 215lb at official weigh-in. They also refused to agree to weigh in at 200lb. Most Valuable Promotions was informed that they were withdrawing from the fight unless 215lb was agreed upon."
