However, Parker signed with Sky Sports and Boxxer, apparently ending any hopes of a BT fight against Joyce.
Frank Warren, the promoter of WBO, blasted Warren for ruining their deal.
Now the fight is on again and will be held on September 24th on BT Box Office.
Although the heavyweights were originally scheduled to fight in July, Parker's trainer Andy Lee was pregnant and so it was scrapped.
Sky came in to sign the New Zealander while they were negotiating a new date.
In July, Joyce, 36, beat Christian Hammer, 34 in four rounds in his keep-busy bout.
Sky couldn't find Parker (30), a worthy opponent in their stable with rival stars on different networks.
The Kiwi is now being sent across enemy lines to be the underdog on a Joyce or Warren show.
