Paul now focuses on the promotion of the women's superfight between Katie Taylor (35), and Amanda Serrano (33).

BJ Flores, his trainer, said that there are plenty of high-profile opponents who would welcome the American celebrity back into the ring.

Flores, 43 years old, said to The Schmo that "You have to just sit back and observe."

He's got many options, he's knocked down everyone he has fought and he did what he had.

"He has a lot to choose from right now, and people are trying to stop him.

"We'll watch what happens in the next few months, and we'll see what unravels, but it'll all be great whatever happens next."

Flores has been with Paul ever since his January 2020 professional debut, when he beat online rival AnEsonGib in the first round.

The 37-year-old ex-NBA star Nate Robinson was knocked out in the November, before he moved on to fight actual fighters.

In March 2021, he beat Ben Askren (37-year-old UFC welterweight) and Woodley (39, in August on points).

Paul signed later to fight Tommy Fury (22), but Tyson's brother pulled out after sustaining a fractured rib.

Woodley, who was previously the UFC welterweight champion, was able to fill in with less than two weeks notice, but was eliminated in round six.
