OLEKSANDR USYK’S coach suggested that the Ukrainian might be close to securing a deal with Tyson Fury to face him in a blockbuster.
The main talk revolves around Usyk's rematch with Anthony Joshua, after he lost to the Brit in September on heavy points.
The former cruiserweight king was awarded the WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight belts.
Frank Warren, Fury's promoter, says that the WBC champion will be back in action March 26.
Dillian Whyte may not be able to accept his mandate due to ongoing legal disputes with the WBC.
According to Sergey Lapin (Oleksandr Usyk’s assistant coach), the undisputed clash could very well be on the agenda.
MyBettingSites was told by he: "Why don't you assume such an option like Fury-Usyk?" It would be a historic event for boxing fans and it would be fascinating.

"At this stage I believe everything is possible, and everything is constantly changing.
"The fight for the undisputed heavyweight champion is an exciting event that hasn't been held in more than 20 years.
"At this time, we don't have any information on the fight. However, I recently noticed that there was a lot of talk about it. We may soon find something new.
"Maybe it's the UK, or maybe it's Saudi Arabia.
"Usyk is up for any challenge, especially if it means he can combine all the belts in heavyweight. His advantage over other heavyweight boxers, however, is his ability to box. It's a huge advantage!
Fury versus Usyk would be a thrilling bout with both boxers masters and all the belts at stake.
Lapin warns that it could become more of a "chess game" if they ever meet.
He said, "If this fight took place between my fighter Usyk Fury and Tyson Fury, it would be a confrontation of two men with high boxing intelligence."
"It would seem to me that the fight would be more like an informal chess match, and victory will go to the person who performs his task as efficiently as possible."
He is confident that his man will make history as the undisputed heavyweight champion.
He said: "Boxing, is an art. Representatives of different styles organize cool fights!"
"Fury can be very messy, but if Alex Usyk can deal with Fury’s dirty style, then victory is his!"
