Paul believes that The Notorious may have subscribed to his notifications because of the speed with which he responded
McGregor, 34, dismissed the idea of a multimillion-pound fight with Paul and took aim at the pay per view buys for his two last fights.
Paul was not shocked at the UFC's attempt to make fun of him. However, he was surprised at the speed with which he responded.
He stated that Conor would do anything to discredit me but it is clear that he wants attention.
"If I'm not a nobody, why are you tweeting at my 10 minutes after the interview is out?"
"It's almost like he had my notifications on."
McGregor's latest attack on Paul provoked a furious response from The Problem Child who insists he is the "new king" in town.
Conor said, "You shouldn’t have f *****d avec moi. This is my game. There is a new king in town. I'm running s**t right now.
"Last year when I won knockout, you were getting knocked down.

"Conor, it doesn't matter how you look at it, we are just not on the exact same level. I am my boss. Yes, PS100m was won by Floyd [Mayweather] when you fought Floyd [Mayweather], but Dana White took half.
Conor, if we were net worth for net wealth, I would s**t you.
Paul, 25, is currently preparing for an August showdown at Madison Square Garden with Hasim Rahman Jr.
McGregor is currently in the final stages in his recovery from the severe broken leg sustained in his fight with Dustin Pourier in July.
John Kavanagh, the Dubliner's head coach, recently stated that he is happy and healthy and it was great to have him back.
"The last few sessions here at the gym were MMA-oriented - he has the all-clear now.
"He had a great session last evening, and we played some amazing rounds. He looked great and has not lost a beat.
"Trust me, we had a little bit of a wrestling match last night and it was great.
"When the silverback arm wraps around your neck, there's a little extra squeeze there... He's very, very powerful at the moment."
