Fury won the undercard match against Paul's sparring partner Anthony Taylor.

The evening ended with the celeb couple clashing backstage, before their teams were forced apart.

Paul has yet to face a professional boxer opponent, so Fury, the star of Love Island 2019, is his next choice fight.

On the podcast, he said: "I believe Tommy Fury is at top of that list. He's skilled, undefeated and a true boxer.

"He has about four million Instagram followers which is a good engagement. He has his fans from the relationship show.

Paul beat online rival AnEsonGib, an ex-NBA player Nate Robinson (37), and Ben Askren (37), previously.

However, his victory over Woodley (39) was a career best and makes him confident that he can fight Fury (7-0).

He seemed to have ruled out a grudge against Dillon Danis, Conor McGregor's partner in jiujitsu training, due to lack of demand.

Paul stated that it all begins with numbers. Would the fight sell a lot of? What if people cared?

"I could fight the famous jiujitsu man who doesn't shut up on social media but it's hard to sell.

"This guy just beat an UFC hall-of-fame legendary striker. We're not going against him in a jiujitsu match.

"So, after each fight we go back to drawing board and we're like "who makes the most sense" -- can they really sell pay-per views?

"Can we make this fight look like Jake is in a tough fight?"

BJ Flores, Paul's head coach, confirmed that negotiations between Fury (22-year-old) and Paul had taken place and gave his blessing for the fight.

Flores said on the Don't Blink podcast that they have been discussing Tommy Fury for a while.

"He's a very attractive kid, charismatic, and the younger brother to world heavyweight champion Tyson. He comes from a Gypsy background, and he's tough."

"He's not as talented as Tyson, nor has he grown up the same way. But he's Fury so he's going be tough."
