JAKE PAUL revealed his plans to fight Conor McGregor but claimed that the UFC legend is already 'ducking me'.
YouTuber, aged 24, has been calling out Irishman for over a year. He is looking to fight the former two-weight MMA champion.
Paul was talking to Tyson
about a fight against McGregor.
Paul insists that he will fight McGregor after five more fights, as he spoke to Mike Tyson, ex-heavyweight champion.
In an Instagram video, Paul said to Tyson: "I'm going fight McGregor in five bouts."
"We discussed it, I'm going fight McGregor for certain."
The professional boxer from 5-0 claimed that UFC star, 33 years old, is trying to avoid a fight with them.
In the video posted on social media, Paul explained to Tyson that "he's already ducking"
McGregor is my opponent. "Just like you said, there are five fights left. What's the deal?"
Paul knocked out Tyron Woodley, former UFC Welterweight Champion, cold. This ended their rivalry after a split decision in 2021.
He also beat AnEsonGib and Nate Robinson, a basketball player, and Ben Askren, a MMA star.
McGregor's fight will draw more attention than he has received so far.
The American explained in November that the fight would take place within two years.
Bleacher Report was told by Paul: "I will fight everyone." It all started with me calling McGregor out.
"People were saying, "This kid is crazy, Conor will murder him." This fight could take place in the next 24 hours one hundred percent.
"I will beat him," people see how serious I am about this and change their thinking.
McGregor continues his recovery from the fractured leg that he sustained against Dustin Poirier last July.
Poirier has defeated the Irishman in his two previous fights - by second round knockout and doctor's call.
If McGregor's rehabilitation goes as planned, UFC boss Dana White wants McGregor to return to the UFC in the summer.
