Jake Paul is expected to win stunning victory over Tommy Fury, a 'novice" in the battle of social media stars

Carl Frampton believes that JAKE PAUL will win a spectacular upset over Tommy Fury, a fellow boxing novice.

The former Love Island star will be facing the YouTuber and boxer in a grudge match in Tampa on December 18.

Paul's inexperience will make him a big underdog. But Frampton believes The Problem Child will outscore the odds and end TNT's undefeated record.

TalkSPORT spoke with the former WBA and IBF super bantamweight: "To be truthful, I don’t really know much about these guys."

"I have seen Jake Paul. Little highlights. Tommy Fury has been a fighter for me, and I actually worked for BT as a pundit for one of his fights.

"I believe that if you put me under a gun, I would like Jake Paul to fight that fight.

He's a newbie to boxing but he's doing fine. He can box a little.

He's yet to face a true boxer, but he's been careful with who he picks and I think Tommy Fury is [Paul] getting him right at the right moment.

"I would probably edge Paul during that fight. It's not something I like to say because I don’t know how great that boxing looks if he beats a real boxer. He would win the fight, however.

If Fury loses to the former Disney star, Fury will be legally required change his name to "Tommy Fumbles".

John, the father, is certain that his reality TV star son will not take advantage of his younger brother Paul.

He said to BT Sport that despite knowing that he was up against a stacked deck of cards, he should still beat Jake Paul at a canter.

"And if that's the case, there's no way for him in boxing."

It's a make or break situation for both the men but Tommy will feel it more because he's a professional boxer.

"Tommy will do his best, he'll do whatever it takes to succeed.

"Has Tommy the skill to beat him?" Yes. Is he able to take him out? Yes.

"All it is with Tommy, he's still young, can he handle big night?"

"But I'm certain he has thought about it many, many times before and he has the king of his ring in him.

"Tyson will be there for him that night. Tyson will likely fly out to Tyson in the next few weeks to assist him.

Tyson will fulfill any desire that he has, I'm certain.
