Jake Paul offers Tommy Fury $1m in a deal with Love Islander.

JAKE PAUL is willing to pay Tommy Fury out of his 'own pocket', and the Love Islander was urged to 'take the chance'.

Fury has already acknowledged that he turned down two fight offers, and told YouTubers to 'get your numbers up so we can start talking'.

Even after Paul raised the price to $1million to pay for a headliner on pay-per view over eight rounds in December, that was still a good deal.

The social media star, 4-0 as an amateur boxer, was investing his own money to help Fury get into the ring.

Nakisa Bidarian was Paul's advisor, and the founder of talent firm BAVAFA Sports. She said that the additional online offer was just a joke.

Fury was warned by him to accept the deal as soon as possible and he revealed that additional bonuses would be available depending on pay-per view success.

SunSport was informed by Bidarian that even the information Jake released yesterday was not something that had been agreed between Showtime and us.

Jake said to me yesterday that he was going to take money out of his pocket to increase the amount, because he wants to get it done.

"The offer is ofcourse a base purse plus pay-per view participation in the UK which is really the only market he has any relevance to.

"And pay per view participation in the US. If the fight is successful, there are some upsides.

Fury, 22 years old, signed a 2-fight deal with Showtime. He made his US debut in August and defeated Anthony Taylor, 32, who was Paul's sparring partner.

Paul, 24, won the largest win of his career against Tyron Woodley (39), over the eight-round distance later that night.

Fury rejected two offers and said they weren't worth discussing.

Paul made a public offer to raise it to $1m, as his management was ready to move on with other targets.

Bidarian stated: "What we said yesterday is let's just lay down the pencils with Tommy and concentrate on the three to four other opponents we're talking to."

Jake replied, "This is the fight I want to win right now, but I know the timing so here's the thing I'm willing do."

"I told them, 'Listen. That's your call. We haven't spoken with Stephen Espinoza and Showtime, but if that is what you want, it's up to you, it's the right decision. It's your money.

"But that's just the base of it, and I want you to be clear: there are additional upsides to it especially in the UK, which is the market Tommy would hope to be very successful in driving pay-per view."

Paul's deal with Showtime was rejected by their president of sports Espinoza, as Bidarian stated that it would be the last.

He stated that there is no other offer than that. Jake should not go beyond that. The numbers don't make sense.

"TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY"

Woodley was given $2m to fight Paul and a cut from the PPV sales. His purse could have soared.

Bidarian, a former UFC executive, does not rate Fury as equally valuable as Woodley.

He is concerned that the ex-reality TV star might lose his career-best pay.

Bidarian stated: "The truth is Tommy's not near the draw Tyron was. He is a four time UFC champion, one the greatest welterweights ever, and he brings an entire MMA community along with him.

"So, while we respect the Fury clan and love working with Frank Warren, we have to be realistic.

Promoters and fighters often make the biggest mistake of not making fights when they should. They do this by making fights as soon and as quickly as possible when the timing is right.
