UFC legend Michael Bisping said it was 'bizarre and suspicious' that Jake Paul allegedly refused to undergo drug testing before his clash with Tommy Fury.
John Fury, Fury's father, was the first one to assert that Fury had refused voluntary testing.
Tommy Fury will meet Jake Paul on December 18,
He also stated that he believes the American is hiding something ahead of the December 18 fight.
Paul defeated Tyron Woodley, an ex-UFC fighter, in August. He also took part in drug testing.
However, it was for the Ohio Athletic Commission (which isn't the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association)
Woodley claimed Paul took steroids before their fight and that he hadn't been drug tested despite a negative test.
Bisping is now expressing dismay at Paul's alleged refusal to submit to VADA testing. Bisping has yet to confirm this claim.
He said, speaking on his YouTube channel: "Recently, we have seen Jake Paul's rise.
"Jake Paul does great work in combat sports, and he's still young in his career.
"But, I just noticed, a moment back, an MMA Junkie article stated that he had not allowed drug testing to take place for his latest fight against Tommy Fury. This is quite bizarre.
"He has all sorts of conditions about "you have to change your name from Tommy Fumbles" and other things.
"There are many things in there, all sorts of stipulations and rules, lots, lots, of work for lawyers to put in. But he refused to do VADA testing or said that he didn’t want it in there.
"Which, I don’t know, that’s a little suspect. I don’t know, I mean, if you’ve got nothing to conceal."
Paul, who was accused of using PEDS in the build-up of Woodley's death, said that he woke up two mornings ago to find my manager sending me this headline and saying, "Hey, hope you see this."
"So, I swiped up my phone and typed "what are PEDs"
"This is hilarious. How many excuses can they make?
People were saying that Ben Askren was going to beat Jake Paul, and that Nate Robinson is the betting favorite, but he's just a YouTuber.
They know that I'm coming to their UFC champion five times, and they have tried to find any excuse.
"It's a professional fight with drug testing and commissions, so how do these people come up with that?"
"I take it as a compliment, as I make light work of them, and they are running short of excuses."
