Jake Paul vs Hasim Raman Jr. at risk. Tommy Fury's replacement threatens to PULL OUT if they don't pay more money

JAKE PAUL's showdown against Hasim Raham Jr could be ruined by a last-minute purse request from the replacement.

Rahman Jr, the son of Hasim Sr, a former unified heavyweight champion, officially took over for Tommy Fury last Wednesday.

Rahman Jr. has apparently increased his purse demand, putting the fight in jeopardy

Paul refuses to give Rahman Jr. a penny more than his agreed purse

However, Gold Blooded may make financial demands that are too late to stop the couple's August 6 dispute.

Paul stated that none of these men really want to fight during an appearance on The MMA Hour. This is what I'm about to discover.

"Hasim Rahman Jr is currently trying to renegotiate the contract.

He signed a contract last Friday for 10x more than he has ever received for any of his fights. Now, boom, one week later, he is trying to renegotiate.

He's trying to get more money out of the fight. He's doing everything he can to claw for the money. I believe he is aware of the potential consequences. He's afraid to fight me.

"A lot of these guys get excited about the money, but when it comes to training and getting into camp they all give up.

"Who knows when this fight will actually happen?"

Paul, 25 years old, insists he will not pay Rahman Jr. a penny more than his contract purse because he does not have a large name.

He stated that he was not going to pay him more money as he is not worth it.

He has a name, but not a huge one. It's unfortunate."

There are major concerns about Paul's participation at Madison Square Garden's planned press conference today.

Paul stated: "His team is (threatening not to show up for press conference), and I don't give any f**k.

"I am tired of these men trying to overprice myself.

"We are paying him 10x more than he has ever made, and now he is trying to get 30x more than he ever made all at once.

"But there's an signed contract, he signed the dotted lines, and now he's trying not to be like, "Well, I'm gonna fight," and that's hard because he can fake injury or say that his hand is broken or something.

"You saw Tommy Fury doing it with the visa thing. Boxing has so many excuses to avoid problems. This fight may not even take place.
