Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury - How boxers compare ahead of super-fight between YouTubers and Love Island stars

JAKE Paul vs Tommy Fury will take place in Miami on December 18.

Fury defeated Anthony Taylor in just four rounds in August's Paul's Undercard. The pair had been exchanging insults prior to the event.

In Ohio, Paul defeated Tyron Woodley by a split decision.

It was scored by the judges 77-75 and 79-74 in Paul's favor.

The 24-year-old quickly switched his attention to the next fight.

They have been arguing online for months, but their talks are progressing behind closed doors.

SunSport believes that despite recent road bumps, a deal for a Christmas cracker is possible.

Paul, an online personality, initially suggested he would skip the Fury fight to take a break in boxing.

He was soon arguing with the Brits backstage, and calling for the fight.

Soon after, negotiations began but Fury admitted publicly that he turned down two offers and believed he was being low-balled.

Paul's attempts to increase the deal to $1million and add pay-per view upsides were also rejected.

Frank Warren, Fury's promoter, recently said that talks were moving in the right direction and he was confident that a deal would be reached.

How do potential rivals compare?

Paul was 24 years old in January. He is two years older than his British counterpart who turned 22 in May.

Both fighters have impeccable records -- Fury is 7-0, and Paul is 4-0.

Fury has won seven of his seven victories by KO. Paul finished within the distance for three of Fury's wins.

Both fighters adopt an orthodox stance. Fury is 6ft 1in taller than Paul, while Paul is only an inch taller at 6ft 1in. 'TNT’ has a longer reach at 80ins to76ins.

The most important thing is Instagram followers. Who would have the largest fan base cheering them on from home?

Fury, reality TV star, boasts a staggering 3.7m.

However, 'The Problem Child', the younger brother of Logan YouTuber, blows Logan out of the water with 17.5m.
