Both fighters have been patient as they hoped for the fight to take place before the contract talks collapsed.
Joe Joyce is unbeaten, and has a reach and height advantage over Joseph Parker
Joyce accuses Parker of trying to avoid him
Parker has not fought since December, when he beat Derek Chisora.
Joyce, 36, is just coming off his victory over Christian Hammer and wants to keep his 14-0 record.
Parker has not fought since December last year, when he beat Derek Chisora by unanimous decision.
Joyce is actually the first opponent for the Kiwi since Junior Fa's February 2021 boxing bout. He previously fought Chisora in May that year.
After back-to-back defeats against Anthony Joshua, Dillian Whyte and Dillian Whitehead, Parker has won six of his last fights.
Joyce, who is looking to be the third British victor after Parker, boasts a greater reach and height than Parker.
Parker's 66% is lower, but he has a greater knockout power than him with 93 percent of his wins coming via KOs.
The Juggernaut is under immense pressure as a win by either fighter will earn Oleksandr Usyk the WBO heavyweight title.
This makes it Joyce's biggest fight since missing out on superheavyweight Gold at the Rio Olympics 2016.
Joyce accused Parker of trying avoid him in the build-up to fight, referring back to the earlier breakdown in talks.
According to The Londoner, "This fight took a long time to make."
"Parker realized he didn't have anywhere else to go, and had to fight. No 1. vs. No 2.
"The winner will fight for the title of world champion!" It will be a great fight, and you'll see why he tried so hard not to beat me!"
Parker responded and said that he would show his best, promising to do so on Saturday, September 24, when Manchester fans will be able to see the very best.
Joe Joyce will be able to see why I will once again become the heavyweight champion in the world with BOXXER.
"I'm working hard with Andy Lee, my trainer. Everything is going well and I feel great.
"I have waited patiently for this fight to start and let me tell ya now, the Juggernaut is dead." He doesn't have anywhere to run."
