John Fury criticizes Tyson's "200 yes men" for making his son a 'one-dimensional boxer in the Deontay Wilder trilogy

JOHN FURY accused Tyson, his son, of having '200 yesmen' around him while he trains in America.

Before Athena was born, the Gypsy King had been in Las Vegas training for his trilogy fight against Deontay Wilder.

Fury was however also enjoying all that Sin City had to offer during his time Stateside.

John cannot help but feel that his son is being led away by people who are only interested in their careers.

He said to BT Sport that he was out there, and he isn't under the watchful eye. He's right around all these yes men when he goes out.

"Because he's about to board the plane in Las Vegas and you have 200 yes men waiting to take that from him.

"Because, he's The Pied Piper. Ain't he?" He does exactly that. He is followed by many people to help them get the best.

"Yes, Tyson. You're this, Tyson, you are that, and you're the greatest in the world. We love you.'

"This kid has heard it all before in his life." They don't love you, they don’t care about you, they just want to increase their status by being around you.

John would have had a massive cleanout of his sons' team if he was able to attend his training camps in America.

He said, "I don’t want all those fake plastic pretenders around my house."

"Because they know that 12 is the right size, it goes right up their backside.

"That's what happens to me when you're near me. Follow that path.

"What are you bringing to my boy's table?" If it isn't relevant, you should be gone. Tyson isn't like that. He just doesn't have that personality. But I do.

"And you need people such as me. Someone has to point the finger at those who are bad.

"Tony Montana said it in Scarface. It's up to me.

"But I am the bad one because I get that boot up my backside and down on the road.

"Because they aren't relevant to his job. Or he'll get beat.

"He must work like we are working here.

"One-to-1, a few people around him that he can trust to work and work again.

"And then, get it all done and shed blood and snot in the gym. He's not doing that right now, I think."

REGRESSED

Fury was preparing for Wilder's third clash before Athena was born.

The WBC champ's grandfather believes that his skills have regressed slightly.

He stated, "I see him in America doing a moment on the pads and being spoken to afterwards.

"You're sure what they'll accomplish: They'll do one minute of work and then talk for two minutes.

"And I have seen it firsthand, and I thought to myself, "You know what? This doesn't make sense to me.

"And he's kind of lost his bit movement that he had for my money.

He used to be mysterious, he used be awkward, and he would come at you in many different ways. He's gone a bit one dimensional. "
