BOXER Danny Garcia claims he has an advantage over Jose Benavidez because of his 11 toes.
After a 19-month break, the American is just days away from his big middleweight clash.
Garcia wants to rebound from Errol Spence Jr's 2020 defeat
The boxer stated that he used to be embarrassed by his extra toe as a child, but now he loves showing it off.
The 34-year old is making his debut in Brooklyn's weight division. He hopes his extra foot will give him an edge.
In a 2015 video, he showed off his extra body and talked about it again during the days leading to the fight.
Garcia stated to TMZ that he will continue to show it off, because he was embarrassed of it as a child.
"Now, I'm somebody. I came a long way with that six-toe."
"I already have the advantage. I gained an additional body part. To beat me, he'll need an additional arm."
He also shared his preparation for the fight, saying, "It was difficult in the beginning, but the way that I've been sparring and the training I've done, the running I've done... everything's stronger and more efficient."
Garcia has not fought since December 2020, when he lost to Errol Spence Jr. in a unanimous point decision.
Spence was only 14 months old when he was involved in a high speed car accident near Dallas.
