Heavyweight legend Mike Tyson once said that he once knocked out an old man who had thrown his pet pigeon into the bin.
Iron Mike won 50 times with 44 knockouts during his career. However, one punch stands out in his mind.
Tyson was just ten years old when he lost Julius, a pigeon, in his first boxing match against Roy Jones Jr.
After the bird's sad passing, the 55-year old had to say farewell to it.
However, before Julius could have a proper memorial, a binman noticed him lying on his stomach in a crate. He then disposed of Julius.
Fury spoke to World Boxing Council and said: "One morning, I woke up to find my favourite pigeon Julius had died. I was devastated and was going to use his crate to honor him.
"I put the crate on the curb and went in to buy something. I came back to find the sanitation man had placed the crate in the crusher.
"I ran to him and caught him flushed on the temple with a titanic left hand. He was out cold."
Tyson also shared another story about a boy who confronted him, and brutally tore the head of a pigeon.
He said, "The guy ripped my pigeon's head off." The pigeon was the first thing that I loved in my entire life.
"I don’t know why. I feel absurd trying to explain it. The [Pigeons] look so much like humans.
