AMIR KHAN called Floyd Mayweather for an exhibition fight, just two weeks after announcing that he was retiring from boxing.

Khan quit the sport following defeat to Kell Brook in February. He admitted that he had nothing to offer.

"And I said, "Brother," and he replied, "No, I don’t think you should."

"Obviously, pro fighters tell you all your lives that 'we should fight one another'. They keep you on the sidelines, on the bench, and I'm like forget about that man, I want control over myself.

"I call it a Day when I call it that. It's not a day that Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao are taking control. I call it a day because we'll fight you.

"Waiting and waiting for them, so I thought nah man. I'll do the best for me."

After beating Conor McGregor (33) in the UFC, Mayweather has participated in three exhibitions.

The first was against Tenshin Naukawa, a featherweight kickboxer, who was 23, in 2018, and then Logan Paul, 27, last year.

Moore was able to cruise past Mayweather, even flooring him old friend, and Mayweather said he would box again in the new year.
