LUIS ORTIZ will be fighting Charles Martin in a heavyweight bout on New Year's Day.
Ortiz hasn’t been in the ring since last summer, when he defeated Alexander Flores in one round.

Ortiz had previously lost via 7th round KO to Deontay Wilder, a former heavyweight champion.
Martin has fought six times in the six years since his 2016 loss to Anthony Joshua for the world title. He won five of those fights, one against Gerald Washington on Wilder-Fury 2's undercard.
Now Ortiz and Martin will clash to claim the right to be in the 2022 heavyweight title picture.
