Mike Tyson was honored with a 10ft statue of the boxing legend in Las Vegas
One replied, "Nah, that ain’t Mike."
Another stated: "Nothing compares to Tyson, but that doesn't negate the fact that he is one of history's greatest boxers."
One more: "Love Mike, but that statue doesn't look like him, lol."
Another said, "Who made it?" Are they not even sure who he is? They even had a picture of him.
It was even compared to a 2017 infamous Cristiano Ronaldo statue, which was mocked at the time.
Resorts World President Scott Sibella, along with restaurateur Richie Palmer, erected the statue as a tribute for a close friend.
Tyson spoke exclusively to HOAR and said that it was a spectacular surprise.
He said, "I didn't know... I am humbled right now." "I am truly grateful."
As he was training for a fight in February, the heavyweight icon didn't eat his favorite Buffalo and Sicilian pizzas.
In November, the Baddest Man on the Planet, a reformed Baddest Man on the Planet, made a shocking return to the ring, drawing in an 8-round exhibition with Roy Jones Jr., 52.
Tyson said that rumours of YouTubers Jake and Logan Paul being his next opponent added fuel to the speculations. "I am going for a return fight February and we're pretty skeptical about our opponent but it will prove to be a really stimulating opponent."
