Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou set to face off in Saudi Arabia
MMA star Francis Ngannou will be making his boxing debut against world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in a highly anticipated crossover fight taking place in Saudi Arabia on October 28th. But what's even more shocking is the prediction made by boxing legend Mike Tyson.
Tyson believes Ngannou can pull off a huge upset
Despite Ngannou's relative inexperience in the boxing ring, Mike Tyson is convinced that he has what it takes to come out on top. Tyson, who has been assisting Ngannou with his training, stated, "He has what it takes to knockout anything or anybody standing in his way. Once he lands a punch on Tyson Fury's jaw, he is going to knock him out too. Nobody can survive that."
Tyson's confidence in Ngannou has others questioning Fury's chances
Tyson Fury himself has acknowledged that Ngannou will pose a bigger challenge than his previous opponents. Fury stated, "I think he's going to be a bit of a bigger, tougher challenge than these other guys. These other guys are just boxers, this guy's more than that."
Fans skeptical of Ngannou's boxing skills
While Mike Tyson and Tyson Fury may have confidence in Ngannou, many fans are not convinced. Some fans even teased Ngannou for his "slow motion" pad work in a recently shared online clip. Only time will tell if Ngannou can prove his doubters wrong and pull off the upset.
