The heavyweight title holders were close to agreeing on a mega deal for two unification bouts. Fury was then ordered to face Deontay Wilder a third time.
Mike Tyson believes Anthony Joshua "telegraphs" his punches
Joshua lost to Oleksandr Uzyk in September.
Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, spoke to the American on his BBC No Passion, No Point Podcast. Hearn explained why he believes Fury would be the favorite.
Tyson returned to the ring after a draw with Roy Jones Jr. and said that it was very interesting. Joshua is a masterful boxer. You can see the punches coming because he telegraphs them.
"And that's just the recipe for disaster if Tyson Fury is your opponent and you're telegraphing all your punches to a guy who's 6ft 7in tall, come on!"
Wilder was defeated by Fury in an epic trilogy fight that Mike Tyson championed long before it became a fomality.
He said, "I believe there are many great heavyweight fighters within the division.
"Anyone who claims it's a bad division are just jealous. It's exciting.
"Tyson [Fury] could fight Wilder again. I like to watch guys fight over and over, if they are exciting fighters.
He said: "[Wilder] made mistakes, but if the fans desire it, that's what this is all about."
Tyson Fury is a fan fighter. He has the momentum and fans love him.
"In England, Anthony Joshua has become a huge thing. Tyson Fury is now the man, he has the masses. They follow him like a messiah."
