Canelo Alvarez was defeated by Dmirty Bibil in May

He does this despite a May defeat to Bivol, in which he lost in a WBA light heavyweight title challenge.

Canelo, however, is not content to move back down in defense of his super-middleweight title. He is willing to take revenge.

DAZN was told by him: "Take the risk, pick the best fights, you might lose one day."

"But I'm happy to fight these kinds of fights, because they make my feel good.

"I believe my legacy is up with these types of fights, and I learn a lot.

"I don’t feel ashamed about that because I believe in myself to be great. It's something I will continue to do.

Bivol saved my life when I was in my prime. He is not in my weight class but I believe I can beat him easily. However, things do happen.

"I won the first five to six rounds, then I got tired. But he's no better than me."

Canelo, 32 years old, was able to defeat Sergey Kovalev (39).

He then moved down to super-middleweight and won all four belts within a year.

He lost his return to 175lb to Bivol, 31. Golovkin, 41, welcomed Canelo back at 168lb.

They first met in 2017, before Canelo won their rematch one year later.

After a long wait, bitter rivals will finally share the ring after 24 thrilling rounds.

Canelo said that he thought the two fights were "really good." People want all three fights.

"For me, the end of the second bout was the end of all the fights against Golovkin. It's enough.

"But people want to know who the best is. He says that I am not a good champion and I am embarrassing for my country. But when he is right in front of me, he doesn’t say anything.

"That's why it's mad. He's a strong, tough, and good fighter. He is one of the greatest fighters of all time. They are great for fighting.

"I believe I am more mature, stronger, have more experience, and that I'm in my prime. This is what will make the difference.

"I believe it will be a great fight, but I want to end the fight before the 12th round. I don't like losing, but it is something that we all must do.
