OLEKSANDR USAYK has grown into a formidable heavyweight figure thanks to the 4:45am alarm call for TRIPLE daily sessions.
The 35-year old Ukrainian ace defeated AJ in his WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight title bouts in September. This led to a rematch in Saudi Arabia next weekend.
Oleksandr Usyk will match Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia next week
AJ was resigned by Usyk in their Tottenham tussle in October
Usyk is ready for the Saudi showdown and has made no mistakes
For his second showdown against the Brit, Usyk trained three times per day
The defending champion spent time at the frontline repelling Russian intruders before beginning his training camp. He is now tapering off preparations for Dubai.
Amir Khan, the British boxing legend, visited the gym and revealed that he has been getting up at 3am every morning to do three intense sessions.
Khan asked Khan, the undisputed cruiserweight king, if he was ready. He grumbled: "I was born ready."
Ex-14st 4lbs boss, who was as light as middleweight during his amateur days, has now bulked up for Rage on Red Sea.
He explained that his ideal weight was 16st before his 2021 point win over Derek Chisora.
For the Halloween London clash, he was only able to reach 15st 7lbs.
He was 15st 11lbs pure muscle, and was still freakishly fast around AJ's ring when he defeated him at Spurs' stadium.
Joshua looks even more overweight than he used to be, which could indicate that he is about to have a rough night.
Usyk, after his unanimous victory over Del Boy, said that he felt more powerful since moving up from cruiserweight.
"I gain extra weight when I exercise in the gym, and I feel less flexible and sharp. But that's only because I have put so much effort into it.
"When it comes down to sparring or boxing, me and the team will determine the best weight at which I can fight.
"I will keep at that weight, it will be ideal to my movement, because that is my main skill."
Chisora and Usyk met in London at the launch press conference of the rerun. They shared a sauna, steam room and other amenities.
The 38-year old revealed that Usyk had devised a bizarre training program to ensure his success against the Watford icon.
Chisora stated that he was about to leave the Russian Bath House I use for my recovery stuff when he told me to hold on because he had something else.
"I sat down, and all I heard was Deek, Deeerrrrek," just like he said during the build up to our fight.
"I began talking to him and laughing, and I told him that he looked tired.
"He said that he had just finished five hours of swimming.
