Oleksandr Usyk willing to give up unification fight with Tyson Fury to 'beat up Anthony Joshua' again

OLEKSANDR USAYK is so certain of Anthony Joshua getting another batter, he doesn't care about delaying his undisputed shot.

Brit hero AJ would have fought the 34-year old Ukrainian to defend his WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight titles on Saturday. He would have also targeted Deontay Wilder, the October 9 winner of Tyson Fury versus Deontay.

Joshua was a former undisputed cruiserweight champion, but Usyk outboxed him and beat him.

Alex Krassyuk, Usyk's promoter, explained that AJ had a rematch clause blocking his shot at double immortality. Instead of sulking, the 19-0 ace smiled.

The new champ stated: "Oh cool! I get to beat Anthony Joshua twice."

"I have three main belts, and Tyson Fury currently has the fourth."

Eddie Hearn, AJ promoter, confirmed that the UK is leading the race for the rematch.

Matchroom Boxing's chief executive said that they would work together to maximize (the income), but Ukraine is unlikely. It will either be international or in the UK. I believe it would be in the UK.

Krassyuk, Usyk's promoter, stated earlier that the rematch clause had been 'activated by AJ and Hearn.

He stated that the contract had specified that the rematch would be conducted.

"It has been activated in principle from the side Joshua.

"So, I recall Oleksandr being delighted when we discussed the issue of rematch and he said, "Wow, cool, [Anthony] will beat me twice." "
