Since December 2008, when Manny Pacquiao stopped him from fighting the ropes, the 48-year old hasn't fought between them since.

Legend shared a clip taken from his hospital bed, confirming that he has Covid-19

He shocked the world when he revealed earlier this year that he would be putting on the gloves for the first time in 13 years.

Golden Boy was to face Vitor Belfort, ex-UFC light weight champion, in the main event on a Triller Fight Club Card next Saturday.

He posted a video from his hospital room, revealing that the showdown has been canceled.

He tweeted: "Wanted to tell you that I was fully vaccinated but have contracted COVID. I will not be able fight next weekend."

De La Hoya, who was dejected, said: "What are my chances of getting Covid?"

"I have been taking care of my body. This has really, really kicked me ass."

BETTING SPECIAL – 20/1 ON ENGLAND TO BE OVER ANDORRA

A real heavyweight contender could replace the former world champion at six-weight.

Ryan Kavanaugh, Triller's spokesperson, confirmed that they are trying to find Evander Holyfield (58), to replace him.

The California State Athletic Commission has yet to approve Holyfield for boxing.

Since May 2011, when Brian Nielsen was stopped in Denmark, The Real Deal has never been in a box.

Kavanaugh confirmed his efforts to find Holyfield a replacement. He also said that California may not approve him and that he would be willing to move the fight from Los Angeles to another place.

He also implied that he may have another opponent in mind by saying, "And more coming."
