Many boxers followed their father into the ring, with mixed results.
Manny Pacquiao's son Emmanuel, who recently made his amateur boxing debut here in America, is the latest to look.

The Mayweathers
Floyd Sr. was a skilled professional. He even fought Sugar Ray Leonard in 1978, but was shot and left with injuries a year later.
Although he did continue boxing until 1990, his focus shifted to his son who he began training as a toddler.
Roger continued to train Jr after Sr was sent to prison for drug trafficking in 1993.
Mayweather and his father had an interracial relationship for many years, until Mayweather Sr was hired as the head coach again in 2013.
They were unbeaten once more, with Jr winning Conor McGregor's 2017 pro-level title with his father in the corner.
MORE IN BOXING
The Eubanks
Chris Sr was well-known for his brutal style of boxing in the ring, and his maverick personality outside it.
He carried this eccentricity to his son's professional career, when Jr became a pro in 2011.
Sr was a constant presence in Jr' corner, and did most of the talking for his boys.
He has also made a name for his self with Jr.
Sr is still a confident man, but Eubank Jr can walk the talk and walk the walk.
The Benns
Conor Benn, a British boxing legend, became the latest child to be reborn in 2016.
After the popularity and success of his father Nigel, he was able to fill big boots.
Conor, however, was not like the Eubanks. He remained distant from his father despite Nigel's support.
This welterweight has now become one of the UK’s most rising stars and is a candidate for major achievements.
There has been talk of a fight for the ages between Eubank Jr. and Benn Jr.
The Hattons
Ricky Hatton was, and will always be, one of Britain's favorite fighting sons.
Now, Campbell is the fighting Hatton's actual son. He is currently being trained by Matthew, an uncle and former world title challenger.
Ricky continues to manage his son, a 6-0 lightweight prospect.
Campbell was initially struggling to make it work, as he had to carry the weight of the entire world on his shoulders after his father's expectations.
The Manchester City fan is now settling down and improving fight by fight.
Lomachenkos
Vasiliy Lomachenko, Anatoly's father, is considered one the most skilled technicians.
Anatoly was a boxer in his youth, but he will always be remembered for his training methods.
His son was also sent to traditional Ukrainian dance classes, and to gymnastics to improve his footwork.
Lomachenko later received the nickname Hi-Tech (or The Matrix) because of his extraordinary feet and angles.
Anatoly guided his son to Olympic golds and titles at three weights in the pros.
The Chavez's
Julio Cesar Chavez, one of Mexico's most recognizable fighters, once held a record of 89-10.
Later, he retired with titles at three weights and the love of a boxing country behind him.
However, his son Jr. is an ex-champion at middleweight in the world.
Julio Cesar Jr. has had issues with discipline throughout his career. He was most recently defeated by Anderson Silva, 46, in the UFC.
His dad has often been left frustrated by his losses and often has to sit ringside.
The Mosleys
Shane Mosley was a great fighter of his time, with mega-fights against Oscar De La Hoya and Mayweather.
Mosley, a 2016 champion in three divisions, retired to focus on his son Jr.
Mosley Jr., however, has had a slow start to his career with a record of 17-4.
With his world title ambitions seemingly beyond his reach, he has not been able to reach the same heights as his father.
Mosley Jr. even suggested a possible MMA switch, pictured in a cage training.
