Patrice Evra, ex-defender of Manchester United, will be taking part in a boxing match against social media star Adam Saleh.
Since retiring in 2019, the former France international has enjoyed a comfortable retirement.

The retired full-back will, however, spend the next few months getting in shape for an April dust-up at American Saleh.
Evra posted the following Instagram comment about the fight: "This fight is April 30 at The O2 Arena, London.
"So, I'm going need my entire UK family to come up and show their love. Not just London, but from all over the UK. This is going to be crazy!"
Fight and footy fans reacted quickly to the news. One tweet said: "Best chance that United player finishes as high as second this season."

Another one said, "Boxing is a joke right now."
Another said, "It's not real. This is so random."
One person was stunned: "What is the real f**k ?????????" This cannot be true.
Evra, unlike Saleh, has never been inside the ring. He has three YouTube fights and is a reputed amateur fighter.

According to the 40-year old, "I'm really excited about participating for the first ever time in my life in boxing matches because I have always had such respect for boxing."
"It's not about strength and power, but also strategy and technique. It's like playing chess.
"The training method is what I love the most, as it is very different from how football players train.
"I'm really excited to be hard at work, to push myself and to step outside of my comfort zone.

Evra's battle with Saleh will be on the undercard to The Iranian Hulk and Martyn Ford's epic showdown.
