PAUL POGBA revealed that Muhammad Ali was his hero growing up, and he learned lessons from the heavyweight boxing legend.
Manchester United midfielder, Ali, explained that Ali's civil rights activism outside of the ring was what inspired him most.

Pogba, 28 years old, said that he was someone who saved lives when he spoke to Sky Sports during Black History Month.
"A hero is someone who saves lives or helps others, and that's what he did.
"He saved many people, but not by taking someone out of the fire. He just gave a good message, helped the world, and said the truth even though it was hard to say.
"He spoke up for the black community, and helped us have freedom today."
Pogba has the same level confidence in the field as Ali.
The 2018 World Cup winner shares the same religion, as the boxing legend who died in 2016, because they both converted to Islam during their careers.
Pogba stated that he learned a lot from Pogba, including how to be confident in yourself and being true to yourself. This is something that I can't change.
"I enjoy laughing, smiling, laughing, dancing, and joking. This is me, and I like to be who I am.
"He is also a converted man, and I am also converted, so it was very fascinating for me to learn his story.
"Everyone has a history, so I was curious to learn about his."
