"Soon we'll unveil everything" - Usyk's promoter teases Anthony Joshua's rematch with date, location and time not yet known

OLEKSANDRUSYK's promoter hinted that an announcement is imminent for the unified heavyweight champion's match with Anthony Joshua.

Although a date has not been set for the second meeting between the London 2012 Olympians and their rivals, they are expected to renew their rivalry in spring.

Alexander Krassyuk, the promoter of the rematch, has suggested that details about their eagerly awaited rematch will soon be made public.

Sky Sports was informed by him that "many things are occurring at the moment. Soon, we'll reveal everything.

Usyk vs Joshua II was originally scheduled for late March, but is now being planned for April.

Eddie Hearn, AJ promoter, recently stated: "April is realistic for that fight.

"Before it's too late, it will be February. These fights require a lot of organizing.

"For us, the UK is the best date and venue to fight that fight. In that case, we would need to fight outside. So we are not interested in fighting in March.

"AJ has been training solidly since the fight.

"Realistically, if you begin your training camp in February it becomes very tight even though April is the best date for the fight. However, that is the preferred date and I believe that it's realistic."

Joshua, the former champ, exercised his rematch clause against the undefeated Ukrainian after being turned over last September in their Tottenham tussle.

The 32-year old has vowed revenge on the slick southpaw and told iFL TV that he had one thought: "For me that's war. That's murder. That's war. Let's go out and hurt him."

"Take his soul until he is ready to give up. That's boxing, that's what I know.

"You should hit people repeatedly, and keep applying pressure until they realize you aren’t going anywhere. You’re here to stay.

"With the gameplan, that's all that I have at the moment, that one track. Stay on course, take him to places he doesn’t want to."
