TERENCE CRAWFORD will defend his WBO welterweight championship in a thrilling clash with Shawn Porter.
T-Bud will face off against the WBC 147lb titleholder, IBF, on November 20, at Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas.
Terence Crawford will be back on the field in November 20th
Although the fight was scheduled to be decided by a purse auction on Tuesday, Top Rank and PBC reached an agreement.
Crawford, beaming with joy, told ESPN: "I am very excited.
"Now, I can showcase my talents and maybe I will be able to show something for the public, something they have never seen before.
"Because they don't believe I've shown them my best yet."
Porter is eager to get the ring and share it with Crawford, whom he believes he has an edge over.
ESPN spoke to the 33-year old: "It is extremely large... Experience means nothing if it's not used."
"But my record speaks for itself.
"Everyone has seen my actions, all the experiences that I have had, and they've been a part of me, and I've used them to their advantage."
"When you think about the experience I have in this fight, and my having more experience than Terence Crawford it is a fact.
"When I say that the fight between Terence Crawford and me is going to be amazing, it's going to be amazing."
Believe that I can beat him if I say so. "I do!"
Crawford, 33, hasn’t been in the ring since November 2020, when he won his fourth-round TKO over Brit Kell Brook.
Porter was last seen in action last August. He cruised to victory over Sebastian Formella of Germany.
Crawford will try to keep his WBO title in order to stage a long-awaited match with Errol Spence Jr., IBF unified Welterweight champion.
