Matthew McConaughey's Abridged Version of the Article
Love Island star Tommy Fury has laid out his conditions for a rematch with KSI, while his brother Tyson claims he should be paid double for the fight.
Tommy Fury, who rose to fame on the reality show Love Island, recently won a controversial points decision against YouTube sensation and crossover boxing star KSI. However, the six-round match was criticized for being scrappy and lacking clear separation between the two celebrities.
Tommy Fury expressed his frustration with KSI's unorthodox tactics and stated that he is ready for a rematch, but only if KSI adopts a more conventional style of boxing. In response, Tyson Fury, the former heavyweight world champion, asked Tommy how much notice he needs for the rematch. Tommy confidently replied that he is ready to fight tonight and is already in shape.
Supporting his brother, Tyson Fury declared that Tommy will "absolutely batter" KSI in the next fight and should be paid double for his efforts. Tommy Fury has already defeated boxing stars Jake Paul and KSI on points, solidifying his position as one of YouTube's biggest boxing rivals.
Tommy Fury's Lucrative Boxing Career
According to Tyson Fury, Tommy has been making millions from his boxing career. The WBC heavyweight world champion revealed that Tommy earned over £8 million ($10 million) from his recent fight with KSI alone. In fact, Tyson estimates that Tommy has made a total of £20-21 million ($25-26 million) from his ten-fight career.
Tyson expressed his pride in his brother's success, especially considering Tommy's humble beginnings. He highlighted the fact that in 2018, Tommy couldn't even afford a bus pass, but now he has millions of dollars in his account and owns a £5 million ($5 million) mansion, luxury cars, and expensive watches.
Tyson also emphasized the impact of these celebrity boxing matches on the sport, stating that they bring millions of new viewers and should be appreciated by the boxing world.
