Jurgen Klopp's rampant Reds battered the Red Devils 5-0, prompting boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to publicly call on his players to use Fury for inspiration after Gypsy King twice climbed up from the ground to defeat Wilder.

Solskjaer (48), said to talkSPORT that it was unacceptable and that they should look into why.

"I used the analogy that it felt like we were punch drunk and knocked out in the first round or four minutes.

"We had a chance. We conceded a goal. We wanted to get it right. But we were a little too open-minded and too frantic in our fight against a strong team.

Tyson Fury is remarkably composed and calm after he's been knocked down several times. He counts to six, seven and eight. Then he gets up, gets ready, and is ready to go again. We woke up too early and tried to fix it.

"Minds need to be more positive, but we have had to see other things as well. The communication must be clear."

However, the Red Devils started badly against City when Eric Bailly made his own net in the seventh minute.
