John, his father and trainer, said talks are moving well and that he is confident that his son can be a social media star.
He warned that Tommy would be dealt with severe consequences if he suffered a devastating defeat.
John spoke to GIVEMESPORT. "We are almost there with Jake Paul on the business side of things.
"They are greedy but they don't know their worth and want the best job possible.
"But we are almost there, this fight will happen, we are 99.9% of the way.
"It's almost over, we just have a few more T's and I's left to dot, but it will all come together.
"Will Tommy beat Jake Paul?" Absolutely. He is a fool because, as Jake Paul says, Tommy would lose to Jake Paul if Tommy was to win.
"Plus Tyson would beat him, Hughie will batter him and Shane will batter him. We would then retire him from boxing so there is no pressure!"
Tommy, 22 years old, admitted that he turned down two offers to fight Paul, 24 in the belief that he was being low-balled.
Talks continued and Paul added an additional wager for the loser.
Fury will be required to pay Fury $500,000 more if Fury loses. However, if Fury wins, the light-heavyweight boxer would need to change his surname from 'Fumbles.
Warren confirmed that the deal was accepted, and that talks are moving in the right direction to make a fight before the end of the year.
Warren stated to iFL TV, "At this moment we're working through terms. We're quite close, and I hope we can get it done.
It's a great fight. He is very rich from the fight. How can you turn down that opportunity financially?
"I believe he wins it. It has captured everybody's imagination. This is what they were talking about in America.
"Hopefully, it will be finished this week so we can move on. It will be in December, November or late November.
Paul turned pro in January 2020, but only after a stoppage against an online opponent, 'AnEsonGib.
He defeated former NBA star Nate Robinson, and retired UFC Welterweight Ben Askren, both now 37.
His biggest win was against Tyron Woodley (ex-UFC champion), in August. He won by scoring points over eight rounds.
Undercard: Tommy defeated Anthony Taylor (32), in a highly successful Stateside debut.
