TYSON FURY claims he is '30-40%' better than Deontay Wilder when he beat him in February last year.
Last time out, the Gypsy King did a great job of grabbing the Bronze Bomber's WBC heavyweight title belt.
This weekend, Tyson Fury meets Deontay Wilder
After what was supposed to be a unification bout between Anthony Joshua and Covid Fury, the Wilder trilogy has been delayed due to Covid Fury. This led to a long layoff.
However, the 33-year old insists that he is better off for it.
According to him, "Deontay will be up against a Tyson Fury that is 30-40 cents better than the Tyson Fury that steamrolled him in his last fight."
"I haven’t wasted our 20-months out of the ring.
"I have worked tirelessly to improve my boxing, footwork, and jab. All.
"I have been an elite fighter for many years, but I used the break to get to a higher echelon.
"I know Deontay has been working hard to improve.
"He has a new trainer, and he wants better.
"But while he will have the strongest punch in the world I don't see how he can make much of his basic boxing.
"I hope that he is better. He should give me a greater challenge, because we don’t want another defeat down.
"I love boxing, and we all want great fights. If we both have improved, then the result should be the same.
"Me breaking down and smashing him to pieces again. It's much faster.
Fury, who is preparing for the Las Vegas fight in Las Vegas, has been working hard to stay hydrated in the desert heat. He admits that he drinks about a GALLON of fluids per day.
He said, "Well over one gallon per day.
Hydration is vital to your performance. Your body is 75% water. You have a large body. You must keep hydrated.
"One per cent dehydration equals a 20 per cent drop in performance. This is a lot of water. To relieve yourself, you have to run.
