TYSON FURY will feel more pressure to renounce Daniel Kinahan, his friend and former adviser after the WBC cut ties with him.
A bounty of PS3.8million has been placed on the head of the Dubai-based "businessman" by US forces. He is accused of running a "murderous drug empire".
The 44-year old helped broker Fury's 2020 fight deal with Anthony Joshua. However, it was cancelled. In February, he had lunch with Gypsy King.
Bob Arum, Fury's US promoter - who was once Kinahan's loudest cheerleaders in sport - took aim at the alleged crime kingpin last Wednesday.
Now, Mauricio Sulaiman, the Mexican head for the sanctioning body Fury is heavyweight champion of has dramatically reversed his glowing praises of the exiled villain.
Sulaiman stated that he met Daniel Kinahan while visiting Dubai, and was later placed on a US Treasury Department sanctions list. This is in reference to Kinahan's alleged links with drug crimes.

Sulaiman's most recent statement may not be convincing critics, as his tributes to the Irishman in the past suggested that he was aware of his reputation and was willing to support him.
Sulaiman posted a social media message that included the following: "I am not qualified to judge anyone. That has been our policy, to combat discrimination and abuses of power before any individual or group.
"That's why Daniel will have all our support in his quest for boxing benefits."
Arum, a former attorney of ninety years old, insists that Kinahan – who has never been convicted for a crime – is still driving force behind major boxing companies MTK Global and Probellum. Both have denied it.
Boxing figures have taken down social media posts and changed their bios. They also deleted YouTube videos to distance themselves from Kinahan, who appears to be getting closer.
Fury has not yet addressed the issue, and it will likely be a big topic at media events that are being organized to promote the fight which starts on Tuesday.
