UNIFIED heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk refused to dismiss Deontay Wilder’s chances of defeating Tyson Fury.
This weekend, the American will face the Brit in what could be his last chance at redemption in a three-fight fight in Las Vegas.
Oleksandr Usyk doesn't think that Deontay Wilder is going to lose against Tyson Fury
Wilder suffered his first pro loss in brutal fashion at the hands of Gypsy King. He won a 7th round KO victory in February 2020.
Usyk will be paying close attention to the fight, and could see a heavyweight bout against the victor.
He said he doesn’t mind which one he has to fight for his chance at the belts. However, Wilder, 34 years old, isn’t dismissing Wilder’s chances of becoming a two-time champion.
Usyk spoke to DAZN and said that he would watch.
"I don’t care too much about who wins. It will be a great fight. Deontay Wilder is always the one to beat, so don't dismiss him. It will be interesting to see who wins.
"I will fight with anyone who holds the last belt. It doesn't matter if it's Wilder or Fury.

He answered when asked his prediction for the fight: "No, I'm not good at making predictions."
"The only thing I can predict is that tonight I will have a wonderful dinner."
After his win against Anthony Joshua in 12 rounds, Usyk is now recovering.
After a spectacular boxing masterclass, the Ukrainian won the WBO and WBA titles. The IBF title was awarded to the Brit.
Joshua has directed his team to begin negotiations for the rematch, where he hopes to repeat his revenge mission against Andy Ruiz Jr.
