The WBC has given Fury (33 years old) the order to meet Dillian Whyte in the long-awaited Battle of Britain.

The bout is still not over as Whyte has made a fuss about Fury's proposed 80-20 purse split.

Team Fury is understood to have considered other options for Whyte in the event that a fight does not come to fruition.

Frank Warren, co-promoter, insists that the former heavyweight champion will fight on March 26 with or without Whyte.

He said to iFL TV, "Tyson wants fight to end in March."

"As a group, we are open to other possibilities. No matter what happens, he will fight March 26th. That's the goal.

"I don't know where it is."
