Tyson Fury's cousin Hughie constructs a personal gym in his back yard, defended by two gigantic Rottweilers before the Hammer fight

BOXING is the life of a heavyweight thoroughbred Hughie Fury.

Tyson's 27-year-old cousin and Peter, his father/trainer, are so determined to make Tyson a world champion at 6ft 6in they built a gym in their back yard.

To get to the sweatbox, Hughie must first navigate through two rottweilers who guard the family grounds.

Fury stated that, ahead of the Newcastle headline clash against Christan Hammer: "I walk out from my home and see a gym, right there, and get punched in both the face all day. But that is the life you must live."

"I knew I had to live and breathe this sport 24/7 so I built a gym right in my backyard. I did it because deep down I believed that I was meant to be a world champion.

"Why would I bother to get in that ring every single day, going through that torture, when I didn't think I was going anywhere?"

Fury was only 23 years old when he took on Joseph Parker for his first and so far only world title.

He has suffered defeats at distance to well-respected and grizzled veterans, Kubrat Pulev (now Alexander Povetkin) since that narrow points loss.

Fury has learned a lot early in his career, but he believes he is now strong enough to win at the highest level.

He said, "Those were boys against boy fights." "No one my age has as much experience.

"I have never been able to avoid a fight in my entire life. Now it is just about getting the right fights to reach the top."
