Conor McGregor beat Floyd Mayweather in 2017.

After jumping two divisions, the Irishman started quickly but lost his momentum in round 2. He was eventually tapped out.

Similar to the previous story, McGregor, 34, won his first bout against Mayweather 45 days later but soon became tired.

McGregor won round ten, and the American boxing legend became the winner.

Diaz, 37, stated on The MMA Hour that Floyd Mayweather showed him the blueprint to defeat him. Let him punch himself out, and in the tenth, he beat his ass.

"I did that right in front of him."

McGregor was defeated by Mayweather in May of last year and returned to McGregor's defeat. He was submitted again this time by Khabib Nurmagomedov (33).

Diaz stated: "Then, he went to get choked out by Khabib.

"If he had finished the trilogy with us, he'd have learned how not to get choked."

"If he had finished the trilogy with us, he would know how to not punch himself out."

He could have done better, but he didn’t. He skipped the queue, so he jumped the line. Mayweather helped him.

"No one has ever helped me, but I have been a part of the sport all the time.

"I am still relevant in this sport without even trying, I haven’t even had to fight."

Diaz still has one fight on his UFC contract, but Diaz begs for his release and refuses to wait for McGregor's return.

He stated, "They don’t want me to get out of my contract."

"They want me fight Conor. Conor McGregor is not the one I am fighting right now.

"Our timelines don't match up. Bring yourself back to life and I'll be there later.
