Wolf of Wall Street Jordan Belfort praises Logan Paul, but claims that Floyd Mayweather's fight was 'obviously staged.

LOGAN PAUL's fight with Floyd Mayweather, boxing legend, was staged.

This is Jordan Belfort, the Wolf of Wall Street.

Paul, 26, a YouTube sensation, went all the way with the former five-weight world champion in an amusing exhibition in June.

Belfort was shocked that Paul had managed to convince Mayweather to share the ring with them, telling The Nelk Boys:

Logan Paul has a lot of respect because he lost all his fights.

It's incredible. That's resilience to me. It is. He is a man I respect."

The ex-stockbroker said: "That whole thing was clearly staged.

"Number 1 was an exhibition match. It was not a professional fight so to say it was staged wouldn’t be the end.

Belfort was quick to clarify that he was not mocking the contest.

He stated that he didn't mean it in a derogatory manner. They did a great job.

"What I am saying is that Mayweather was not there to knock out Logan Paul.

"The purpose of the fight was to entertain and set up the next one."

Since his fight with the Money man, the elder brother Paul has been tight-lipped about the possibility of returning to the Ring.

He insists that he will still be wearing his gloves, saying in his post-fight interview, "Come on baby, baby.

"Come on. Yes, it is. This is the coolest thing in the world.

"When you see the gladiators fighting to the death, it's easy to think of the Roman Colosseum.

"Look around. "Look around. My brother filled the arena in Cleveland, Ohio, where he grew up. It's the coolest thing anyone could ask for.

"I've already said it, so I'll repeat it: Fighters, bro. Modern-day gladiators. There is no more dangerous sport.

Everyone feels it when the fighter walks into the room. He has a presence. It's awesome, I love it.

"I love sports, and I love entertaining. "I'm honest, I'm f g good bro."
