The Notorious' actions were criticized by Belal Muhammad, a welterweight

McGregor's postfight destruction of The Nigerian Nightmare was not well received by many, even Belal Muhammad, the welterweight title challenger.

He stated to MMA Fighting, "You can have all of the money in the universe, but you don’t have any attention anymore. That’s what you want the most."

"You don’t need anyone shouting your name anymore, and that’s what you really want. It's just pathetic to see where men are right now.

McGregor's resentful attitude towards Muhammad stems from McGregor knowing that he feels defeated in front of his family.

He stated, "Even Conor McGregor knows how it feels losing in a championship fight. But he also knows how it feels to be lost in front of your family."

"These guys kick a guy down when he's down. It just shows how good they are."

They're simply looking for attention. Conor McGregor is seeking that attention. Jake Paul is searching for that attention.

"Karma is going to come back, especially for Conor, who hasn’t won a fight since 2005. All you have to do is tweet when there is a big fight."

McGregor tweeted a picture of McGregor out cold, with the caption: "Mi lika the Boi no sleep dem Man hahahahahahaa t**t got to t***ed."

He said, "Usman will come out saying that he is from Pluto after the smack hahaha Marty Green pants from Pluto."

The next fight between Usman and Edwards is expected to be a three-fight series, which will take place in the early part of next year.

McGregor is currently in the final stages after sustaining a broken leg last July. However, his kicking abilities are not fully restored.

Manager Tim Simpson also admitted that the UFCs poster WON’T make a return to the Octagon this year.

Conor McGregor will be returning to the Octagon in the early part of next year

McGregor told MMAJunkie that he was involved in a Roadhouse remake. He said: "A fun little venture, then switching back to climbing on the mountain again."

It fits perfectly. He is still on track to make a huge return next year.

He said, "Acting was not something Conor had in his mind at the very forefront of his mind. Right now he is still a world-class fighter and his focus remains being the best fighters in the world.

"But, as the injury continues healing and he continues to prepare to make a comeback. The timing worked out well.

"It's an amazing opportunity to do a Hollywood blockbuster in the meantime, and he's going all out to win it.

"The leg is still healing. I think there's some more to do, but he has been training like madman. Twice daily, every day.

"He has been training hard and is in incredible shape, it's just the last adjustments to get his leg where it should be."
