Anderson Silva, a legend in MMA, says he is open to Logan Paul being a boxing social media star.
Last month, it was reported that the ex-UFC middleweight champion was in discussions to face the elder brother Paul in Dubai.
Anderson Silva, a former champion of the UFC Middleweight division, returned to boxing in June
Silva was however matched up with Tito Ortiz, a fellow UFC veteran, but he hasn’t ruled out sharing The Maverick’s ring.
When asked if Paul would be willing to face him, he replied: "Let's see. It's possible to do anything.
"We cannot control this situation. One thing I can control is to train hard and listen to my coach.
"The other side, that's what I can't control. I'm ready for it if that happens.
"If I don't, I will continue to train."
Silva's fight with Ortiz, a former UFC light-heavyweight champion, will be the appetiser in Oscar De La Hoya’s return fight against Vitor Belfort.
While the Spider is focused on beating his fellow MMA legend, he is not denying that there is a chance to clash with Paul.
He said, "Everything is possible." I love fighting. Fighting is an important part of my life.
"I am constantly challenging myself. I don't stop learning.
"Triller approached me and inquired about the possibility of fighting Tito.
It's an honor, he's a legend. Tito was a monster. This is incredible, I said to him.
"I love Tito. This is a huge show for the fans.
"The shows are totally different for fans.
"I believe Vitor, Tito, and other MMA fighters will be ready to show the world what we can do.
"I am still waiting for the next challenge. Maybe it will come from Logan Paul. We will see.
Silva, 46, was back in boxing this June when he took on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., former WBO middleweight champion.
Paul was last seen in action one week before the Brazilian. He was paired with Floyd Mayweather, boxing legend.
Surprisingly, the YouTuber ended up traveling the distance with Money. Money looked like Father Time had finally caught up to him.
