St-Pierre, who retired in 2019, has been signed on to a prominent position in Karate Combat's programming.
Adam Kovacs, the president of the promotion, has tried to persuade GSP that he should return to karate.
St-Pierre started karate at seven years old to protect himself against bullies. Later, he was crowned the greatest fighter ever.
Rutten also believes that debuting in Karate Combat will propel the organization, which was founded in 2018, to new heights.
SunSport was told by him: "That would have been freaking amazing.
"Imagine if he could be beaten by Raymond Daniels or anyone else. We have some really great fighters in this area.
"Stephen Wonderboy Thompson and Lyoto Machida are still competing. Stephen competes for UFC.
"So while it would be difficult to get him here competing, he is still here as a teacher and coach, sensei.
"But what if we got GSP signed? It's not important. Then we put the entire show on the map. This will make everyone watch.
St-Pierre (41), is considered one the greatest UFC fighters, having won both the middleweight and welterweight belts.
He hasn't fought since beating Michael Bisping (43), in 2017. Then he retired two years later.
Oscar De La Hoya (49), was very close to him in fighting boxing. However, he was banned by UFC due to one bout remaining on his contract.
This means that he is an advisor to Karate Combat. However, there are hopes that he will compete in a bout. These unique films are all shot in movie studios.
Karate Combat has signed Daniels, 42, a former kickboxing world champion.
Rutten, who is a UFC Hall of Famer and a UFC Hall of Famer named St-Pierre's opponent as the ideal opponent under karate rules.
He stated that he thought Raymond Daniels would be the perfect man for this job. Because he is so skilled at what he does: pinpoint accuracy.
"But Georges is smart, he doesn't just face karate. He's got great takedowns that are permitted in karate combat.
"So he's going for a takedown and ground and pound. I'm pretty certain that's his game plan. If he allows Raymond Daniels to stay at a distance you're in trouble.
"The guy does amazing things, and that's why we signed him. That would be quite a fight.
