Conor McGregor lasted for four rounds against Khabib Nurmagomedov

McGregor evaluated each round and determined that Dagestani's undefeated star was on his way to winning.

He claimed he won rounds one, three, and four right up to the 'trip.

McGregor responded to a Twitter fan who claimed McGregor had been'mauled by the Russian'. He was out struck three to one here.

"Elbows, knees, clatters. He held the entire round. Round two was won by him. The kimura attempt that you are referring to took place in this round.

"I kneeled him into his eye socket and broke the grip. This is a beautiful shot! "I also won three and four more up to the trip."

He added, "Round 1's mine." Out came 3-1. Elbow, knees, clatters! He continued to hold on.

"Two is his, but I land multiple knees. One standing after the overhand and one from the bottom into the eye socket during a kimura attempt.

"Not a scratch at the end of round." I won round three and four, which was the last before the trip."

The ex-featherweight and lightweight champion shared a photo of himself after the fight, and wrote: "Ye. Not a scratch." Before I bounced up, I relaxed before he bet his cousin and brother round.

It was believed that a rematch would be possible and Khabib acknowledged that it made sense.

After beating Justin Gaethje at UFC 25, the Russian dropped his gloves.

In his return fight in the cage for 2020, Notorious, 34 years old, was defeated by Dustin Poirier at UFC 257.

After McGregor broke his leg, McGregor had to retire and Poirier won a rematch at UFC 264.
