CONOR McGREGOR believes that his sons Conor Jr. and Rian will carry on his fighting legacy, as he described 'interesting times ahead'.
Since Jr was born in 2017, McGregor has had the youngster as a regular member of his training team.
He often posts adorable photos of his two-weight UFC champion copying him at the gym.
McGregor has now welcomed Rian, a baby boy, in May.
Conor Jr., the Irish star, was asked about his thoughts on MMA and whether he would consider it a career.
McGregor replied in the Twitter Q&A, "That kid of mys is going to do what he wants in life."
"I will be there for him no matter what! He will, I believe. His younger brother Rian will, too.
"Interesting times are ahead. As long as they're happy, I'll be happy."
McGregor began boxing at the age of 11. By the time he was 18, he had switched to MMA. This move would pave the way to the greatest career in UFC history.
The 33-year old is the highest-paid UFC fighter and holds two belts.
However, his efforts to regain the lightweight crown were thwarted in July by Dustin Poirier (32), who beat him for the second time consecutively.
McGregor was defeated by Poirier in January's rematch.
He won the trio bout in dramatic fashion, McGregor breaking his tibia just seconds before the end.
He is currently in Los Angeles recovering from the horror injury and has been undergoing rehabilitation.
McGregor was placed on a six-month suspension for medical reasons, but he insists that everything is in motion for his grand comeback.
McGregor answered, "2022." I am improving quickly!
"Working with one of the most talented teams money can buy!" "I'll be back in no-time, lock loaded!"
