It was announced by Taoiseach Micheal Mart that almost all Covid-19 restrictions had been lifted - which allowed pubs and restaurants the ability to resume normal hours and to a maximum capacity.

The former two-weight UFC champion shared several Instagram photos of his evening with his family, after he purchased the Crumlin boozer from him for PS2 million in 2019.

He wrote, "Own it and take it care of baby. Who ya talkin to. Yup the Panel beaters."

Another post shows him enjoying a drink in the pub.

McGregor's Pub was the victim of a horrendous petrol bomb attack two weeks ago. Two bombs were thrown at it.

Gardai opened an investigation into the attempted criminal damages and responded to reports that two pipe bombs were left at the property.

He shared photos of himself drinking in the boozer once more just hours after the attack, saying that "life is a b***h".

Black Forge Inn Management released the following statement: "After hours last evening it appears that criminals made an inexplicable effort to inflict harm to the Black Forge Inn.

"There was no damage to patrons, employees, or the Forge. Mr. McGregor wasn't on the premises at that time.

"The gardai opened an investigation into this incident. We remain open and active as usual."

An Garda Siochana spokesperson said that they are investigating an incident of attempted crime damage at a licensed premises on Drimnagh Road in Crumlin Wednesday 12th January 2022.

"No damage was done the premises. Gardai is asking for witnesses to the incident.

McGregor is currently not able to fight in the UFC because of a broken leg sustained in his last fight with Dustin Poirier last January.

The 33-year-old is focusing on his recovery. UFC President Dana White thinks he may be ready to return to the Octagon in the summer.

He replied, "I believe so, yes." He is doing everything right with his leg. "I'm hopeful he will be able to come back this summer," I said.

McGregor is requesting a title shot against UFC lightweight champ Charles Oliveira.

White did not rule out McGregor's possibility, and several other fighters are concerned that McGregor may skip the line for a title shot, despite only winning one fight in the past six years.

McGregor, however, has promised to "walk straight to a championship shot" when he recovers from his injury.

He said last August that the leg tho would be more than capable of kick.

"I am billi walking straight towards a title shot on the return, and it sickens my bums.

"Which is why these constant disrespectful remarks come by way. God bless them.
