As he was working the pads, he looked fit and healthy.

McGregor broke his tibia in the UFC 264 loss to Dustin Poirier back in July.

The 33-year old took to Instagram to post a video of him back at the gym, and promised a return for the ages.

He wrote: This is my first time on the pads! It was a great feeling! Let's get @mcgregorfast going!

"Like @schwarzenegger said, 'I'll Be Back, b!' Back With a Vengeance!"

"Thank you to my doctors and team for getting me so far after my surgery!" Although there is much to do, I am known for my work ethic.

"Stay in for the greatest sports comeback ever!" #champchampppvbillionaireking"

UFC officials have suspended McGregor's medical treatment until January.

Initial reports indicated that he would be out for twelve months after having surgery in Los Angeles.

The world champion at two-weight will long to be back in the Octagon.

Poirier was knocked out by him in 2014. However, he lost the rematch in January.

After their thrilling end to their trio bout, the lightweight competitors have opened the doors to a FOURTH fight.
