And The Notorious poked holes in the bitter rival's legacy

The Russian fighter retired with a perfect record of 29-0 and only losing TWO rounds in the UFC.

McGregor however insists that the Dagestani's unblemished heritage is 'good', not great.

The Irishman answered a question about the arch enemy's skill sets and said, "Low KO Rate."

"Can't get up. Despite almost giving up on trying to lose weight, I have never been able to move up in my weight class.

"Made several escapes from fights. Retired before the deadline.

All of this leads to him being a decent fighter, but not great. It was a good few weeks. That's all.

McGregor and Nurmagomedov participated in the largest MMA fight ever in the main event at UFC 229 October 2019.

Nurmagomedov retained his lightweight title by winning the fourth round submission before starting a mass brawl just a few seconds later.

McGregor tried to persuade the Dagestani destroyer to a rematch, but was unsuccessful in his attempt to avenge his second defeat in the octagon.

Nurmagomedov also shattered his hopes of a rematch by double-dipping on his retirement.

ESPN quoted him as saying, "Nothing and no one [can] bring me back]."

"We set out to regain this belt. His name is Islam Makachev.

"He must take the. Belt back to Dagestan. I believe in his abilities. He can do it.

"I believe that by the end of next years, we'll be able to take this belt home."

McGregor, 33 years old, is currently recuperating from the terrible broken leg that he sustained in his fight with Dustin Pourier.

Recently, he stated that he would be fully trained in mixed martial arts sparring by April. Easily!

"By then, a return will become imminent. I must be patient. "I will overcome this!"
