Conor McGregor says he likes it very much and sees "many holes" in UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman while he seeks the THIRD title

CONOR McGREGOR is determined to become the UFC's first three-division champion. He claimed that he sees "many holes" in Kamaru Uman.

McGregor became the UFC’s first champion to hold two divisions simultaneously in 2016, winning both the lightweight and featherweight belts.

Although no one has ever won a belt in all three divisions, the Irishman seems to be aiming for Usman's welterweight title.

He claimed that Colby Covington (33), was unlucky to be defeated in their bitter UFC 268 match.

McGregor, 33, tweeted "Thought Colby mixed him up nice last fight. Finished stronger.

"Without the 2nd round knockdown, it's Colby’s fight imo. If even still. There are many holes. I also see a suspect dome.

"I like it very much for the triple."

McGregor defeated Jose Aldo (35), and Eddie Alvarez (37), to win the 145lb & 155lb UFC titles.

He has also won two fights at 170lb welterweight, including against Donald Cerrone (38), in 2020, and Nate Diaz (36), in 2016.

McGregor was first back in January at lightweight, and was defeated by Dustin Porier (32), whom he had defeated in 2014.

He was then unable to finish round one of the trilogy bout, seven months later.

He was eventually unable to stop the bleeding and went under the knife in Los Angeles. Later, he returned home to Ireland.

McGregor is still recovering from his horrific leg injury and has been lifting weights.

He only recently hit the pads again, and he updated his followers with an update about his rehabilitation via a series tweets.

McGregor stated: "As soon I am cleared for sparring, I will be right back in.

"The fibula has healed completely. The medial side is also developing nice calluses.

It is important to wait for the bone to break down to the side of the tibia, where the larger break took place.

It's moving in the right direction. This race will be won by Patience!

"I can't wait to wrap the steel bar in my leg around the neck of a future enemy!" I count down the seconds until I can launch this weapon.

"I will be fully trained in mixed martial arts sparring by April. Easily! Then, a return is possible. But I must be patient. "I will overcome this!"
