CONOR MCGREGOR took his family to Rome after their Stateside visit.
After breaking his leg in the UFC 264 trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier, the former champion in UFC two-divisions enjoyed a happy life in America for almost three months.
McGregor and Dee Devlin, his fiancee, were initially based in Los Angeles. However, they moved to Miami after a few years.
However, The Notorious and his family will now be making a last stop in the Eternal City before they return to Ireland.
On Wednesday, the UFC's poster child shared photos of himself and his son Conor Jr, daughter Croia, and Devlin on their way to a private plane to his Instagram account.
The Dubliner took a few more photos once inside the luxurious aircraft. One was of him and one of Devlin, who were beaming with Proper 12.
The screen showed them a flight path to Rome.
McGregor, 33 years old, is now back on his feet three months after his terrible leg injury and making great progress in his rehabilitation.
SunSport recently heard from the manager of MMA's superstar, who said that he is recovering faster than doctors had expected.
Audie Attar, chief of Paradigm Sports Management, told SunSport that he is ahead of schedule.
"We received our x-ray results back, but we also got our CT scan and ultrasound results.
"It's so healing to see the x-rays from my own perspective.
"He is walking now after only 10 and-a-half weeks of surgery.
"And he's doing s**t we don't want him do, like throwing the first pitch at the Cubs Game."
Later, Attar added that "all fun aside, he is just in a great state." He is in a good place.
Conor: "I try to tell Conor that you've already earned your heritage already. It doesn't matter what you prove to anyone.
"Financially, there is no reason to fight again in your entire life. Because we've built amazing businesses.'
He's an entrepreneur, and we continue to set precedent for all athletes. All athletes, not just MMA fighters.
He's so competitive, man. He says, "I don't think about the UFC."
"Whatever. "I'm not thinking of fighting. But I will get there.
"So, if the pitch was any indication of what might happen, God willing the healing process continues along a straight track, he's going to come out there to continue competing.
"Because the man wants to go on his terms. He won't accept the terms he was dealt in his last fight.
